The Tee Up for Tots Golf Invitational, presented by Rexall, reached the million dollar goal for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, setting a record for proceeds raised at a one-day charitable golf tournament. Funds will go to areas of highest priority at the Stollery Children's Hospital. Since its inception eight years ago, Tee Up For Tots has raised over $ 3.2 million in support of sick and injured children.

"Once again we've shattered fundraising records at this event. The never ending generosity of those who support the Stollery Children's Hospital speaks volumes about wanting to ensure the very best health care is available for our children," says Dianne Young, President & CEO of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.

"Year after year Kevin and I are overwhelmed by the support for this event," says Sam Abouhassan. "This year we tried something new, and once again our generous donors and sponsors pulled through making this a record breaking event."

This year, Mayor Stephen Mandel, Premier Ed Stelmach, Glen Sather, Craig Simpson and Craig MacTavish were a few of the golfers who 'teed-up' to support this year's event at the Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club. In addition to golfing, this year's event also included activities like yoga, guided hikes through Maligne Canyon and Mount Edith Cavell for spouses, as well as children's activities.

Our thanks to event sponsors, volunteers, Jasper Park Lodge and the community for helping make miracles happen.
